Our day school program consists of 4-5 activities, rest breaks and freshwater. 2-3 activities will be reserved for training through play and games to help teach manners and skills. 1-3 activities will be designated for your dog's favorite form of play, enrichment or thinking. Each activity will range from 10-45 minutes. Includes bi weekly one on one 30 minute sessions with one of our trainers as well as grooming services depending on package. *space is limited*
Our ideal candidate:
- Dogs that are not spayed or neutered
- Dogs that do not have basic manner skills
- Owners that are looking for a more structured environment for their dog
- Dogs that have lack of control or become overstimulated in a group play daycare setting
- Dogs that do not fit into large group play daycare
- Dogs that love to play with other dogs
- Dogs that do not enjoy socializing with other dogs
- Nervous dogs that have not been socialized with other dogs
Each day consists of:
- Training
- Grooming *services will vary on amount of days enrolled
- Physical exercise
- Individualized enrichment
- Mental stimulation
- Rest breaks
- Fresh water
Activities include:
- Play with toys like tug, fetch & more
- Small group socials if applicable
- Pack walks around the property including wooded trails
- Walking, jogging or running on a canine treadmill
- Flirt pole
- Fun dog sports, including agility, treibball, fast cat, flyball & more
- Manners practice
- Tricks
- Puzzle toys
- Snuffle mats
- Scent work
- Grooming
Training includes:
- Position changes
- Loose leash walking
- Wait at the gate
- Stay
- Place
- Crate training
- Recall
- Grooming skills
- Greetings
- Trick of the month
- Introduction to dog sports and or scent work *if dog shows interest
- Behavior of your choice *1 per month
Requirements:
- Must complete a 30 minute meet and greet evaluation prior to attending.
- Dogs must be up to date on Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella.
- Dogs must have no human-reactivity issues
- Reservations are required
- Dogs must attend 3-5x a week to be eligible for this program
Pricing
Our day camp program is offered Monday - Friday. Drop off is between 7:00am - 9:00am, pick up is from 3:00pm - 5:30pm. Drop off and pick up is done in the canine recreation center lobby, if you need to drop off or pick up between 9:00am - 3:00pm, please come to our grooming lobby. We lock our gate at 9:00am, they open back up at 3:00pm.
*Dogs that complete the day school program will be eligible to skip Canine Companionship 1 class
